'Parents and teachers in partnership, fundraising for the benefit of the children'
The role of the PTA is to support a working partnership and link between the school and it's families through which funds can be raised for the benefit of the pupils.
The PTA raises funds through the organisation of events involving children, families, staff and the local community.
The PTA is not involved in the day to day running of the school and does not get involved in the concerns of individual children.
In 2015 funds raised from regular events such as the Quiz and the Summer Fayre have been used to purchase new violins and to enhance the newly developed pond area with a story chair and wooden toadstools. The PTA also helps to fund school outsing and trips such the Pantomime and trips to places of interest.
